The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gijsbert Luikens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Primitivo Chago dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gijsbert Luikens, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

56 minutes into the match, Revenge's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Osoitz came free, but Gijsbert Luikens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Primitivo Chago in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gijsbert Luikens saved Revenge from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Osoitz in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gijsbert Luikens prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
