Roberto Neivas short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Stefan Awizo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edson de Castro hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute of the match, André Coutinho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stefan Awizo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Stefan Awizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Penha in the 18th minute of play. Roberto Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Stefan Awizo made a huge save. Wasyl Karaszkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
