In the 15th minute Jeremias Urtsua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Fertus made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Cleto Indalecio sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Apocalípticos & Caóticos getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Isidro Serapio hit a great ball. If Cleto Indalecio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Nel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Guib's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. When Cleto Indalecio came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Indalecio couldn't finish the play. If Ciriaco Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene defense, Lisandro Errando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ariel Nel. The Deportivo Pomelo Nenene fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Nel should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cleto Indalecio was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Indalecio came free, but Flavio Fertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ciriaco Eutropio got a free kick in the 61st minute. Apocalípticos & Caóticos made a substitution. Mauro Camerino replaced Roman Rivero. After 63 played minutes Deportivo Pomelo Nenene got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Eutropio. The goalkeeper, Ariel Nel, was totally fooled by Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Alejandro Ciano, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 70 minutes into the game, Valentin Aureo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apocalípticos & Caóticos the free kick. After 70 played minutes Deportivo Pomelo Nenene got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Aureo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejandro Ciano during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Apocalípticos & Caóticos getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Alejandro Ciano hit a great ball. Ciriaco Eutropio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Fertus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Aureo came free, but Flavio Fertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Guib in the 84th minute of play forced Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Ariel Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Lucas Guter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Guib scored 1-4 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ariel Nel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jeremias Urtsua fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apocalípticos & Caóticos's protests and gave Jeremias Urtsua a yellow card for diving instead. Jeremias Urtsua hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Valentin Aureo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Fertus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
