FC Lugano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZigZag Athletic the free kick. Ulf Böcklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odysseus De Souza in the 21st minute of play forced ZigZag Athletic's goalkeeper Algot Påk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiziano Gamache to make the kick off. ZigZag Athletic's Algot Påk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiziano Gamache in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiziano Gamache in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Algot Påk saved ZigZag Athletic from getting behind. Stephen Witschard kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. FC Lugano made a substitution. Fedor Adler replaced Fidelio Haller. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Sevier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Max Sevier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Aleberg in the 59th minute of the match. Odysseus De Souza got in the 70th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Algot Påk handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Ulric Donsante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Florian Diederich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algot Påk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulric Donsante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algot Påk having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Palmiro Brennwald during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
