The audience thought a goal was coming when Ercan Ruknettin got free with Gheorghe Vărzaru in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of TEAMNAME booed when FC Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Dabija didn't get a good kick on the ball. İsa Özay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gheorghe Vărzaru came out and tried to block the shot, but İsa Özay slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. Gheorghe Vărzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsa Özay, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 27th minute, Recai Hunalp made a precise shot to the right of Gheorghe Vărzaru. FC Buzău's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Mustafa Orhan Özberk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Cismarescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some careless play in the TEAMNAME defense, Costel Dorineanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Orhan Özberk. The TEAMNAME fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Orhan Özberk should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ercan Ruknettin made a kick off. Sorin Zâncă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Mustafa Orhan Özberk made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Florin Barascu put in a rough tackle. The referee gave TEAMNAME a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Recai Hunalp, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Buzău's Gheorghe Vărzaru. 4-1. Gheorghe Vărzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsa Özay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Sorin Zâncă recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mustafa Orhan Özberk. Sorin Zâncă showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. In the 79th minute Ercan Ruknettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gheorghe Vărzaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TEAMNAME's Mustafa Orhan Özberk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save TEAMNAME from getting a goal against them. Gheorghe Vărzaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İsa Özay went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute, Ecevit Özkutal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Nejat Akpolat hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. TEAMNAME's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
