After 30 minutes of play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Mohammed Lloyd made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josselin Portet was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Roderick Watson fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Miami Futbol Club's protests and gave Roderick Watson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ground Control booed when Racing Miami Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roderick Watson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Youri Lignon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tyrese Sands was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 45 minutes into the game, Just Bazoge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ground Control's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Miami Futbol Club the free kick. Just Bazoge kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Stan Cobb replaced Mitch Schneider. The wind increased when Mohammed Lloyd made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammed Lloyd in the 54th minute of play forced Ground Control's goalkeeper Josselin Portet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Mohammed Lloyd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Josselin Portet. Ground Control's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohammed Lloyd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Racing Miami Futbol Club were furious when Roderick Watson was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. John-David Bory hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Youri Lignon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 80th playminute. A collision led to Ground Control getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Alphonse Mathevet hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes Ground Control got a freekick which was hit by Just Bazoge. During the 93rd minute of the match Sylvain Chiffoleau completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sylvain Chiffoleau a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Sylvain Chiffoleau kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
