The tension between the CF Apaches and the Maraponga FAC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julian Radzyminski hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Válbson Queirós was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Maraponga FAC booed when CF Apaches was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damazy Wydrych didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Zbigniew Osielski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válbson Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Jaszcz having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, CF Apaches's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Queirós came free, but Roland Jaszcz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Maraponga FAC's Válbson Queirós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roland Jaszcz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to CF Apaches getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Tymoteusz Adamczak hit a great ball. Jacek Cichewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Maraponga FAC's Victor do Valle got a free kick in the 46th minute. Julian Radzyminski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jardel Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Radzyminski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Válbson Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Jaszcz having to interfere. Magno Dante hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Roland Jaszcz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Simões in the 72nd minute of the match. Maraponga FAC were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after CF Apaches's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Paulo Toledo took the corner. The corner led to Maraponga FAC's Magno Dante getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Julian Radzyminski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jardel Falcão having to interfere. Jardel Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Cichewski in the 88th minute of play. Roland Jaszcz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th match minute, CF Apaches was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbigniew Osielski to maneuver through the defense. Marcinho Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Jaszcz having to interfere. CF Apaches's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
