WAU team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Júnior Vidal in the 7th minute. WAU team's Júnior Vidal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gigi Buffon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 11th match minute, A.K.Sh Albania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kliti Ujku to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Gilson Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Otávio Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Vidal in the 36th minute of the match. Gigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otávio Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 41 minutes, Otávio Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WAU team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otávio Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Muharem Plasari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Eduardo Pontes. WAU team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Muharem Plasari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Luiz Donato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Gilson Munhoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WAU team and the A.K.Sh Albania players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilson Munhoz hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Luís Eduardo Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endrit Rusi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muharem Plasari in the 58th minute of play forced WAU team's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio Quintal in the 85th minute of the match. WAU team's Luís Eduardo Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muharem Plasari in the 88th minute of play. During the 94th minute of the match Gilson Munhoz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gilson Munhoz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Gilson Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes, A.K.Sh Albania's Ermir Bardhyli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Pontes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.K.Sh Albania reached it. The A.K.Sh Albania fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. WAU team were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
