In the 4th minute, Purple Talents's Cederique De Kepper dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a little luck, POPODARA F.C's Jon Klakegg got control of the ball when Cederique De Kepper tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Purple Talents getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cederique De Kepper hit a great ball. Michael Campens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Raastad in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cederique De Kepper in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Klakegg saved POPODARA F.C from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Cederique De Kepper got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 21 played minutes POPODARA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Filip Haram. In the 25th minute, Vegard Berdal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jon Klakegg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cederique De Kepper's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Carel Tilemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jon Klakegg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jon Klakegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levi Audenaert in the 40th minute of the match. Jon Klakegg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remco Van Der Elst, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Cederique De Kepper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lieven Omblets to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in POPODARA F.C's zone, Remco Van Der Elst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Klakegg came out of the goal and Remco Van Der Elst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lieven Omblets scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jon Klakegg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute, Filip Haram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, POPODARA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Lieven Omblets came free, but Jon Klakegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, Remco Van Der Elst notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of POPODARA F.C's Jon Klakegg. Jon Klakegg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lieven Omblets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jon Klakegg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Cederique De Kepper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Klakegg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Klakegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lieven Omblets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jon Klakegg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lieven Omblets's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. If Filip Haram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levi Audenaert in the 93rd minute of play forced POPODARA F.C's goalkeeper Jon Klakegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th match minute, POPODARA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Haram to maneuver through the defense. Purple Talents's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
