The ORIZABA F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when ORIZABA F.C.'s Gervasio Sazon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Timoteo Pero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petter Fransson having to interfere. Marcelino Domeka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herman Björck in the 15th minute of the match. Gervasio Sazons short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Petter Fransson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Malmö White Knights's Johan Hedlund got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malmö White Knights's Petter Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Sazon in the 22nd minute of play. Sven Sellberg's late challenge caught a ORIZABA F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven Sellberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Malmö White Knights's Sven Sellberg got a free kick in the 25th minute. Timoteo Pero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petter Fransson having to interfere. Timoteo Pero came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Petter Fransson could save by the left post. Javier Rosario hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, ORIZABA F.C.'s Sixto Ezkerra seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sixto Ezkerra the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ORIZABA F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sixto Ezkerra had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 34th minute, one of ORIZABA F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ORIZABA F.C.. After 40 played minutes ORIZABA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Esdras. Petter Fransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Rosario in the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herman Björck was the one to do the kick off. During the 51st minute of the match Sven Sellberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sven Sellberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 52nd minute, Sven Sellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Wik kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Dario Tomi made a great header on ORIZABA F.C.'s corner, it was just that Malmö White Knights's Petter Fransson managed to reach the ball for a save. Petter Fransson came out of the goal and Javier Rosario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 73 minutes of play, ORIZABA F.C.'s Ovidio Deunoro made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petter Fransson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petter Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Deunoro in the 77th minute of play. Marcelino Domeka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johan Hedlund went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. When ORIZABA F.C.'s Ovidio Deunoro in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malmö White Knights's goalie prevented a goal. In the 95th minute, Gervasio Sazon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herman Björck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see ORIZABA F.C. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
