Tracto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mamadou Saabøll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, EL PEPO FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Patxi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Oskarbi. Melquiades Patxi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Camilo Policarpio hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Melquiades Patxi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Edgardo Turi. Guillermo Oskarbi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Melquiades Patxi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to EL PEPO FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tomás Satordi hit a great ball. Guillermo Oskarbi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Melquiades Patxi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Guillermo Oskarbi fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tracto's protests and gave Guillermo Oskarbi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Tracto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Oskarbi to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Oskarbi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Melquiades Patxi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Bernat in the 47th minute of play forced EL PEPO FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Patxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Ayala charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervasio Bernat in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Patxi saved EL PEPO FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in EL PEPO FC's zone, Guillermo Oskarbi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Patxi came out of the goal and Guillermo Oskarbi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the game, Tracto's Gervasio Bernat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Patxi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 72nd match minute, EL PEPO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Argider to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Edgardo Turi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in EL PEPO FC's zone, Primitivo Chepe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Patxi came out of the goal and Primitivo Chepe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to EL PEPO FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Denis Guerrero hit a great ball. Edgardo Turi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melquiades Patxi. EL PEPO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tracto's Israel Itzaina got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Guillermo Oskarbi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Bilbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Clodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tracto's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
