CD Municipal's Burutzagi Romero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronaldinho Kaká sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Burutzagi Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Kaká in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Kaká cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Burutzagi Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute, Ronaldo Nazário De Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Słodkie Cytryny fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After the first half Słodkie Cytryny were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, Elvison Presley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Słodkie Cytryny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvison Presley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ponciano Bobis kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A hard shot by Hugon Wodaszak from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Burutzagi Romero's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 61st minute, David Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marian Mietus got free with Burutzagi Romero in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Burutzagi Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Nazário De Lima in the 66th minute of play. Burutzagi Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldinho Kaká went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The supporters of Słodkie Cytryny booed when CD Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Burutzagi Romero was a little too slow when Ronaldo Nazário De Lima got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-9. Bogdan Marchefka's late challenge caught a CD Municipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bogdan Marchefka helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Słodkie Cytryny's Bogdan Marchefka got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ronaldinho Kaká sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st minute, Ronaldo Nazário De Lima reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Burutzagi Romero. The goal made the score 0-10. After a defensive mix-up in CD Municipal's zone, Elvison Presley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Burutzagi Romero came out of the goal and Elvison Presley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Słodkie Cytryny left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CD Municipal.
