The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximino Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Dikaté in the 3rd minute of play. Pedro Dikaté took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximino Polo. Maximino Polo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Maximino Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Dikaté, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Herradura FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cláudio Correia was slow to take the kick. During this time Set Fire's players had a chance to rest. Set Fire's Simão Valies suffered a sore knee after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lisandro Franco's late challenge caught a Set Fire's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Franco helped the player get up and apologised. Set Fire made a substitution. João Carlos Savimbi replaced Simão Valies. Lisandro Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. La Herradura FC's Maximino Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Correia in the 11th minute of play. João Carlos Savimbi took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximino Polo. Maximino Polo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Pedro Vasques kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Ambrósio De Matos threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Herradura FC's Gerardo Umea quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 44 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Correia came free, but Maximino Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pes made a kick off. Pedro Dikaté in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maximino Polo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Dikaté kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maximino Polo. That made the score 0-4 in the 54 minute of play. Emílio Camarinha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Laurendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. João Carlos Savimbi struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Maximino Polo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Set Fire. Neide De Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Polo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Set Fire's Pedro Vasques got a free kick in the 74th minute. Cláudio Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Dikaté in the 82nd minute of play forced La Herradura FC's goalkeeper Maximino Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes Pedro Dikaté rounded La Herradura FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Pedro Dikaté received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximino Polo came out and tried to block the shot, but Pedro Dikaté slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 94th minute. The La Herradura FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Set Fire were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
