In the 10th minute, Afonsinho Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvaldo Brasil acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Clemente Erdiano. Maximino Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Vides in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Trancoso came free, but Maximino Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, La Herradura FC's Edvaldo Brasil threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Clemente Erdiano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Clemente Erdiano scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvaldo Brasil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR booed when La Herradura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Unax didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Trancoso came free, but Maximino Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvaldo Brasil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Medeiros in the 46th minute of play forced La Herradura FC's goalkeeper Maximino Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Laurendi's late challenge caught a λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Laurendi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to La Herradura FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ulises Laurendi hit a great ball. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Giovani Lago was substituted for Leandro de Andrade. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR made a substitution. Maximino Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Sidnei Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Sidnei Trancoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Polo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Hamílton Martins who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Maximino Polo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 63 minutes into the game, Clemente Erdiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Herradura FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR the free kick. Clemente Erdiano hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Trancoso came free, but Maximino Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's goalkeeper Maximino Polo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sidnei Trancoso. Maximino Polo made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Sidnei Trancoso sent off a good shot on target. Hamílton Martins received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximino Polo came out and tried to block the shot, but Hamílton Martins slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 88th minute. Maximino Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
