With his leg Terry Kieffer managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when FC Zhelezna's Iliya Prokopiev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 7 played minutes FC Zhelezna got a freekick which was hit by Stoycho Biradzhiev. Stoycho Biradzhiev hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Danny Edelmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dobromir Gospodinov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Sava Muftiev hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Dobromir Gospodinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Chevalier in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denimir Stanchev in the 19th minute of play forced FC Lëtzebuerg's goalkeeper Terry Kieffer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes FC Zhelezna got a freekick which was hit by Sava Muftiev. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, George Schnitzler managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lëtzebuerg's supporters rose to their feet, but George Schnitzler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dobromir Gospodinov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dobromir Gospodinov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward von Grimmelhausen, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Dobromir Gospodinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Chevalier in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to FC Zhelezna getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Temelko Tzelov hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Iliya Prokopiev kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Zhelezna's Radul Gornishki got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, George Schnitzler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Niki Pironkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dobromir Gospodinov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward von Grimmelhausen, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Dobromir Gospodinov made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Danny Edelmann sent off a good shot on target. FC Zhelezna's Dobromir Gospodinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward von Grimmelhausen in the 71st minute of play. FC Zhelezna's Dobromir Gospodinov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save FC Zhelezna from getting a goal against them. Denimir Stanchev scored 2-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Terry Kieffer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dobromir Gospodinov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward von Grimmelhausen went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
