Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Amado Viator made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to CERPA getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Delmar Valente hit a great ball. Jorge Passos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Bernabe Arano made a huge save. Bernabe Arano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmyr Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Walmyr Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baldomero Irrintzi kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cactos's Ronaldão Trevisan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernabe Arano. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wágner Leal got free with Bernabe Arano in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd match minute, CERPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Aritza to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Walmyr Loureiro made a precise shot to the right of Bernabe Arano. CERPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 46 minutes into the match, CERPA's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Trevisan came free, but Bernabe Arano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldão Trevisan to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cactos booed when CERPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Aritza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernabe Arano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldão Trevisan went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 74th play minutes Ronaldão Trevisan shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Bernabe Arano and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldão Trevisan in the 82nd minute of play forced CERPA's goalkeeper Bernabe Arano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 played minutes CERPA got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Quilo. In the 87th minute Ronaldão Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Arano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CERPA's Bernabe Arano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Trevisan in the 87th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Ronaldão Trevisan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernabe Arano. CERPA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldão Trevisan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. If Guga de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Cactos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
