Sporting DoutroMundo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Candeias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Álvaro Candeias notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Santa Margarita's Uriel Jerrald. Uriel Jerrald was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 12 minutes, Alberto Jesus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting DoutroMundo and the Santa Margarita players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sporting DoutroMundo getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alberto Jesus hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Serapio in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Éder Almeida saved Sporting DoutroMundo from getting behind. In the 16th minute Erubiel Serapio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Éder Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Albérico Coelho fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting DoutroMundo's protests and gave Albérico Coelho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sporting DoutroMundo getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Albérico Coelho hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Jesus came free, but Uriel Jerrald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Jesus to make the kick off. Álvaro Candeias scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Jerrald, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 55 in the game by Erubiel Serapio from a close distance when the talented Éder Almeida managed to make a qualified save. Sporting DoutroMundo's players were relieved. Uriel Jerrald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Candeias, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Vinicio Dominix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Erubiel Serapio came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Santa Margarita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Serapio couldn't finish the play. Vinicio Dominix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Éder Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Sporting DoutroMundo's Éder Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting DoutroMundo from getting a goal against them. Erubiel Serapio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éder Almeida having to interfere. Erubiel Serapio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Éder Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafin Tino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Éder Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
