Spectators: 195 (Terracing: 147, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antonio Ushev started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Al-Ahli getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Faisal Al Sohali hit a great ball. Danail Raychev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Younis Al Harban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Volodya Pisarev during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Volodya Pisarev hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Al-Ahli's Shaban Al Motaire got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Danail Raychev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Al-Ahli's Younis Al Harban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Younis Al Harban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Ushev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 24 minutes, Vitomir Bozev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GARGOYLES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitomir Bozev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, GARGOYLES's Vitomir Bozev got a free kick in the 26th minute. With a little luck, GARGOYLES's Avgustin Anatkov got control of the ball when Jaber Al Ateqi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Al-Ahli booed when GARGOYLES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Ushev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 played minutes GARGOYLES got a freekick which was hit by Velislav Kozev. A collision led to GARGOYLES getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Vitomir Bozev hit a great ball. Al-Ahli's Younis Al Harban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danail Raychev in the 41st minute of play. Danail Raychev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Younis Al Harban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jaber Al Ateqi made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Jaber Al Ateqi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Al-Ahli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Al-Ahli's Younis Al Harban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Al-Ahli from getting a goal against them. Younis Al Harban was a little too slow when Danail Raychev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 63rd minute, Volodya Pisarev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Younis Al Harban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Ushev in the 67th minute of play. If Volodya Pisarev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faisal Al Sohali kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Danail Raychev dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Younis Al Harban, 1-2. A collision led to GARGOYLES getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Petyo Halvadzhiyski hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Ebrahem Al Qatam shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Avgustin Anatkov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GARGOYLES had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
