In the 81stth minute of the game Arto Õunapuu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berisso Dortmund's Aurelio Ralondo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Hugo Allik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Allik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonides Orzaize's late challenge caught a FC Dundee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Orzaize helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Dundee booed when Berisso Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Orzaize didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 played minutes, FC Dundee's Jass Enula shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aurelio Ralondo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Dundee reached it. In the 94th minute, Arto Õunapuu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Dundee's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
