Silvestro Bär's late challenge caught a Prishtina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvestro Bär helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Mevlan Jusufi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvestro Bär got his second yellow card in the match during the 21st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 22nd minute, Silvestro Bär hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Emennegger struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Pavli Dushku didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hemmersbacher SV. Eneo Pambuku hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Claude Massey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hemmersbacher SV's supporters rose to their feet, but Claude Massey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavli Dushku breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabiano Emennegger in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavli Dushku prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabiano Emennegger was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Prishtina FC's Pavli Dushku got control of the ball when Severin Nussbaum tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Hemmersbacher SV's goal looked a bit too open when Valon Laraku came free, but Chip Nick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 minutes, Fabiano Emennegger made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Prishtina FC's Pavli Dushku tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Paolo Ktona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Chip Nick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68thth minute of the game Valon Laraku who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hemmersbacher SV's Chip Nick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rory Kirsch during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rory Kirsch hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Fabiano Emennegger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Prishtina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rian Xhagolli to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hemmersbacher SV booed when Prishtina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rian Xhagolli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 played minutes Hemmersbacher SV got a freekick which was hit by Rory Kirsch. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valon Laraku in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chip Nick saved Hemmersbacher SV from getting behind. Severin Nussbaum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavli Dushku having to interfere. Hemmersbacher SV's Chip Nick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valon Laraku in the 96th minute of play.
