The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Remo Marinho hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Ricky Boezem hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 7 played minutes, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Cesinha Saraiva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rinus Middeljans came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ reached it. Remo Marinho hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Otto van Zelst kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Virgílio Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Frits Bos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Léo Jardim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 27 minutes, Izaak Swerts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kirchroa and the Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Kirchroa's Izaak Swerts got a free kick in the 27th minute. Remo Marinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rinus Middeljans. FC Kirchroa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zé Augusto Dantas hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes Jordy Lammens shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Léo Jardim to catch but Jordy Lammens was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Léo Jardim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frits Bos in the 42nd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roderick Booy to strike the kick off in the second half. Léo Jardim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frits Bos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgílio Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. FC Kirchroa's Rinus Middeljans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho Meirelles in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Kirchroa's Otto van Zelst got a free kick in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frits Bos in the 73rd minute of play forced Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Léo Jardim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgílio Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rinus Middeljans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rinus Middeljans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcinho Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Virgílio Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Kirchroa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
