In the 18th minute Severo Vachon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, GERLIROJO Ψ's Maximino Xacintu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Paulo Corrêa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After having played for 45 minutes, Severo Vachon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GERLIROJO Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Vachon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Umbrella Corporation getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jeferson Mazza hit a great ball. The Umbrella Corporation players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GERLIROJO Ψ were winning 0-4.

52 minutes into the match, Umbrella Corporation's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Vachon came free, but João Paulo Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Abadie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastião Pimenta charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastião Pimenta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Umbrella Corporation's João Paulo Corrêa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Umbrella Corporation from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute Teofilo Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jeferson Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Umbrella Corporation booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Oskitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, GERLIROJO Ψ's Teofilo Maiorga got a free kick in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Luís Fábio Veloso threw the ball into play from the sideline. GERLIROJO Ψ's Benito Gonsalve quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
