After 6 played minutes Purcaresti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Aursulesei. Flávio Godoi's late challenge caught a Purcaresti CSS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flávio Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Barões F. C.'s Flávio Godoi got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Ramiro Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Toader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Barões F. C.'s Narciso Velasco in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Purcaresti CSS's goalie prevented a goal. Damian Toader came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Barões F. C.'s Narciso Velasco. But to his dismay, Narciso Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute, Narciso Velasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Toader was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Damian Toader showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Narciso Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Toader. Purcaresti CSS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Álvaro Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gigi Drăgan in the 37th minute. Dinu Aursulesei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Costa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Recife in the 43rd minute of play forced Purcaresti CSS's goalkeeper Damian Toader to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Narciso Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Toader was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Velasco to make the kick off. When Barões F. Álvaro Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Aursulesei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiro Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Damian Toader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Toader made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Narciso Velasco sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Eduard Glodeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Recife took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damian Toader. Purcaresti CSS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 66 played minutes Barões F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Souza. After 71 played minutes Barões F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Velasco. When Martin Bacanu fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purcaresti CSS's protests and gave Martin Bacanu a yellow card for diving instead. Martin Bacanu kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Ramiro Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Toader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Narciso Velasco put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Damian Toader. When Flávio Godoi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. Flávio Godoi hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Ramiro Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Toader having to interfere. Barões F. C. played a much better game than Purcaresti CSS and deserved their victory. The Purcaresti CSS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
