Stoke FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folke Flinck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 13 minutes into the game, when Amador Calvet put in a rough tackle. Rolando Luix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Ahlstedt having to interfere. Ambrosio Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Stoke FF's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Luix came free, but Stig-Åke Ahlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Folke Flinck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Cayetano Peru made a huge save. If Rolando Luix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Rolando Luix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Åke Ahlstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stoke FF's Stig-Åke Ahlstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Casado in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stoke FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ambrosio Casado was slow to take the kick. During this time Diego CANCH Off Hasta2030's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Stoke FF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Folke Flinck hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Luix in the 38th minute of play forced Stoke FF's goalkeeper Stig-Åke Ahlstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Diego CANCH Off Hasta2030 booed when Stoke FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folke Flinck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ragnar Blom to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Rolando Luix managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 59th minute, Stoke FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gerardo Ferran fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Jens-Erik Söderström fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
