A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ubaldo Bento hit a great ball. Lázaro Donostia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Quirze having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Pero in the 14th minute of play forced Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Matias Gauargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Ezequiel Pero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matias Gauargi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Melquiades Ritchie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Damian Quirze made a huge save. Ubaldo Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Desfachatados F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Lisandro Tiniebra hit a great ball. After 43 minutes of play, Racing Club's Ezequiel Pero made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Gauargi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Ezequiel Pero came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Pero couldn't finish the play. In the 55th match minute, Desfachatados F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Oro to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Ezequiel Pero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matias Gauargi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damian Quirze came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Desfachatados F.C.'s Lázaro Donostia. But to his dismay, Lázaro Donostia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. With a little luck, Desfachatados F.C.'s Matias Gauargi got control of the ball when Ezequiel Pero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Racing Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
