The supporters of Villa Mitre City booed when Frente Revolucionario F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Epifanio Etxatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Lozano in the 12th minute of the match. Epifanio Etxatxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Posam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Etxatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Posam, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Martín Arauz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Alexis Morales had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Epifanio Etxatxu. After the first half Frente Revolucionario F.C were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Mendiko made a kick off. Franklin Chavez hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes, Eduardo Paredes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frente Revolucionario F.C and the Villa Mitre City players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Frente Revolucionario F.C getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eduardo Paredes hit a great ball. Hector Dely showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Orti in the 65th minute of the match. Epifanio Etxatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Posam in the 67th minute of play. Villa Mitre City were furious when Augusto Curcio was red carded, 75 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre City's Augusto Curcio got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Totin Herbruger in the 76th minute of play forced Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Epifanio Etxatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Etxatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Espino in the 88th minute of play. A hard shot 90 in the game by Alexis Morales from a close distance when the talented Epifanio Etxatxu managed to make a qualified save. Villa Mitre City's players were relieved. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 2-6 when Alexis Morales sped through Villa Mitre City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Epifanio Etxatxu. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Frente Revolucionario F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
