But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genílson Valadares couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Rafinha de Carvalho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Zlatan BK's Kjell Grönberg. Kjell Grönberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedrinho Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Ekeroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Wiliam Marques hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 27th match minute, Borussia Dortmund MZB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Donato to maneuver through the defense. Rudolf Ekeroth was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 32 minutes into the match, Marius Macovei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kjell Grönberg. Zlatan BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marius Macovei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Marius Macovei struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Kjell Grönberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund MZB. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludvig Wik got free with Pedrinho Mandrak in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 38 played minutes Borussia Dortmund MZB got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho Reis. A collision led to Zlatan BK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ingmar Granström hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Pedrinho Mandrak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ludvig Wik. After the first half Borussia Dortmund MZB were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludvig Wik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kjell Grönberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. 58 minutes into the match, Oliver Molander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedrinho Mandrak. Marius Macovei didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Genílson Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Borussia Dortmund MZB fans jumped to their feet.
