Trabzonspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amador Hechter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hızır Dicle in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Gilen saved Atletico Calamar Saavedra from getting behind. Korhan Yahya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Beturian in the 16th minute of play. Korhan Yahya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Hechter in the 17th minute of the match. When Martin Silvino fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Calamar Saavedra's protests and gave Martin Silvino a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Atletico Calamar Saavedra got a freekick which was hit by Martin Silvino. Korhan Yahya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Silvino in the 23rd minute of play. Iker Gilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hızır Dicle, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 35th minute Mateo Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korhan Yahya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hızır Dicle in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Gilen saved Atletico Calamar Saavedra from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Teodosio Columbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Silvino in the 54th minute of play forced Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Korhan Yahya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timur Ulum, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 65th play minute Mateo Beturian came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Korhan Yahya. 0-4. After 67 played minutes Atletico Calamar Saavedra got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Urdaspal. Iker Gilen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hızır Dicle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Korhan Yahya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Beturian. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Martin Silvino took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Korhan Yahya to make any attempt to save it. Korhan Yahya came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Mateo Beturian. But to his dismay, Mateo Beturian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 90th minute, Aykut Kutluay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Mateo Beturian got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Atletico Calamar Saavedra eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
