The Hermanö Oilers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth Forsberg should have stopped the shot. Adelino de Andrade made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Sune Åberg sent off a good shot on target. Hermínio Melo's late challenge caught a Hermanö Oilers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermínio Melo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Melo to maneuver through the defense. Hermanö Oilers's Peter Bank got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 16 minutes of play BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Hermínio Melo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Hermínio Melo hit a great ball. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Andrade to make the kick off. Stefan Falck charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Falck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Hermanö Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Falck. Kenneth Forsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Sá in the 53rd minute of the match. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Adelino de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Bank in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute Peter Bank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Hermanö Oilers's Peter Bank nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adelino de Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 70th minute, Peter Bank made a precise shot to the right of Adelino de Andrade. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 75th match minute, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Recife to maneuver through the defense. If Sune Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sune Åberg in the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hermanö Oilers's Sune Åberg got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Augusto Sá in the 87th minute of play forced Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Kenneth Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's goalkeeper Adelino de Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arne Bryngelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinho Siqueira during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 96 minutes, Nicolas Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hermanö Oilers fully deserved thier win.
