An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernani Messias in the 11th minute of play forced Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goalkeeper Guido Quinteros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Ernani Messias put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Guido Quinteros. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Vavá Recko took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Guido Quinteros to make any attempt to save it. 21 minutes into the game, Zé Passos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reko-Recko 03™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ the free kick. After 21 played minutes Reko-Recko 03™ got a freekick which was hit by Zé Passos. Maurinho Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Bonadona, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd minute, Albano Bonadona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurinho Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The supporters of Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ booed when Reko-Recko 03™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vavá Recko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ defense, Juninho Pernambucano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guido Quinteros. The Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Quinteros should have stopped the shot. Guido Quinteros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vavá Recko in the 40th minute of the match. Maurinho Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Bonadona, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Florentino Muno struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Maurinho Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ. In the 47th minute, Benjamin Tolino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Ernani Messias made the kick off in the second half. Hortêncio Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Guido Quinteros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Hermes came free, but Guido Quinteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Bartolo Eate got a free kick in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Reko-Recko 03™ defense, Florentino Muno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurinho Lima. The Reko-Recko 03™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurinho Lima should have stopped the shot. After 76 played minutes Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Pueblo. In the 76th minute, Vavá Recko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reko-Recko 03™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. 81 minutes into the match, Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Ernani Messias came free, but Guido Quinteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurinho Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Darien in the 82nd minute of play. Guido Quinteros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernani Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Maurinho Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Muno. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juninho Pernambucano in the 95th minute of play forced Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goalkeeper Guido Quinteros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Quinteros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Guido Quinteros came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Reko-Recko 03™'s Ernani Messias. But to his dismay, Ernani Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2.
