Azul Y Plomo's Hidalgo Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Restu in the 2nd minute of play. 4 minutes into the game, Reasco Chillon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Azul Y Plomo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esmeralda AFC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Azul Y Plomo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esmeralda AFC:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Artizar got free with Hidalgo Barrionuevo in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Azul Y Plomo's Roberto Aliceda got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 7 played minutes, Esmeralda AFC's Melquiades Lamberto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hidalgo Barrionuevo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Esmeralda AFC reached it. After a rather tough play, Azul Y Plomo's Trota Traus got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Håland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Azul Y Plomo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esmeralda AFC the free kick. Reynaldo Håland hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The long shot by Aquilino Mon in the 13th minute really tested Hidalgo Barrionuevo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Azul Y Plomo getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Roberto Aliceda hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Azul Y Plomo's Francisco Carabia got a free kick in the 17th minute. Roberto Aliceda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Benigno Silbestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Azul Y Plomo booed when Esmeralda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Lamberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Hermelando lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Javier Hermelando hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Benigno Silbestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Libertad Temiño, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Azul Y Plomo's Hidalgo Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Lamberto in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Azul Y Plomo getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Vladimiro Tavira hit a great ball. In the 34th minute of the match Melquiades Lamberto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hidalgo Barrionuevo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Cristian Rufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Xoan Gavarnet fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azul Y Plomo's protests and gave Xoan Gavarnet a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Xoan Gavarnet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-1 became the score in the 48th minute when Alfredo Cevallo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Håland was the one to do the kick off. If Francisco Carabia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Reynaldo Håland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benigno Silbestre was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to Azul Y Plomo getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Roberto Aliceda hit a great ball. Azul Y Plomo made a substitution. Xarles Herrero replaced Libertad Temiño. In the 70th match minute, Esmeralda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Restu to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Cristian Rufo made a precise shot to the right of Hidalgo Barrionuevo. Azul Y Plomo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Bernabe Artizar took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hidalgo Barrionuevo. Hidalgo Barrionuevo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Benigno Silbestre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Håland's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Håland notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Esmeralda AFC's Benigno Silbestre. Benigno Silbestre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 89 played minutes Esmeralda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Lamberto. Reynaldo Håland's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benigno Silbestre firmly grabbed it by the left post. Benigno Silbestre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Olozagoitia in the 93rd minute of the match. Benigno Silbestre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Håland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
