Marcelo Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Dani Cochrane successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Olliver Todman scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Sá, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodriguinho Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 35th minute Olliver Todman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkeley Glover in the 37th minute of the match. Marcelo Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olliver Todman in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper Marcelo Sá, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Galo na Veia FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Olliver Todman came free, but Marcelo Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Olliver Todman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Sá was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olliver Todman to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olliver Todman got free with Marcelo Sá in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olliver Todman in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcelo Sá, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Jeremias Lago fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olliver Todman got free with Marcelo Sá in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Berkeley Glover came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Australian Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berkeley Glover couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Galo na Veia FC™'s Fernandinho Capixaba got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Marcelo Sá was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dakota Gaffigan. 86 minutes into the game, Olliver Todman lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Marcelo Sá. After 88 minutes, Ben Minton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Australian Youth Academy and the Galo na Veia FC™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ben Minton hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Marcelo Sá was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Dakota Gaffigan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dakota Gaffigan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. The supporters of Galo na Veia FC™ booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkeley Glover didn't get a good kick on the ball.
