After a rather tough play, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Mauro Ortle got a free kick in the 15th minute. Eusebio Leizarraga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Naike in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Leandro Eleder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Astigar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Ortle during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. C.A. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Leizarraga in the 35th minute of play forced Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's goalkeeper Clemente Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A. Calamuchita's Eusebio Leizarraga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Charro in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Aaron Naike ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusebio Leizarraga was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Luis Herensuge hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Isaias Benvido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Clemente Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Sendoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute of the match, Sixto Leizarraga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clemente Astigar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the C.A. Calamuchita defense, Aaron Naike kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusebio Leizarraga. The C.A. Calamuchita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusebio Leizarraga should have stopped the shot. Eusebio Leizarraga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Naike in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Herensuge got free with Clemente Astigar in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of C.A. Calamuchita booed when Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Benvido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Primo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
