After some careless play in the Hockeysnubbarnas BK defense, Máximo Pimentel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egon Eliasson. The Hockeysnubbarnas BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egon Eliasson should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute Máximo Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Eliasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egon Eliasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Hockeysnubbarnas BK's goal looked a bit too open when André Rego came free, but Egon Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Paixão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Egon Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Abel Paixão made a precise shot to the right of Egon Eliasson. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 39th match minute, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Paixão to maneuver through the defense. Fabrício Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Forsberg in the 40th minute of play. The Hockeysnubbarnas BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egon Eliasson should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Paixão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Máximo Pimentel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 74th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Egon Eliasson made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Francisco Noronha sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Hockeysnubbarnas BK's goalkeeper Egon Eliasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aprígio Espinosa. Egon Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aprígio Espinosa in the 87th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Máximo Pimentel notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Egon Eliasson. Egon Eliasson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
