The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Sinan Akmeşe fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CİCERO's protests and gave Sinan Akmeşe a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes CİCERO got a freekick which was hit by Sinan Akmeşe. After 6 played minutes Sunkens Surtröjor got a freekick which was hit by Lars Sundström. Karl-Johan Lekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murathan Temren in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Staffan Falck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Murathan Temren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Johan Lekberg. Sunkens Surtröjor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murathan Temren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Albert Bergqvist struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CİCERO's zone, Ingvar Waller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İsa Darga came out of the goal and Ingvar Waller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Johan Lekberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Behzat Timurcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Behzat Timurcan in the 39th minute of play forced Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Lekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Sinan Akmeşe managed to get in a good position for a shot. CİCERO's supporters rose to their feet, but Sinan Akmeşe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Johan Lekberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Murathan Temren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Lekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half CİCERO were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Murathan Temren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olof Ryberg hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ali Behzat Timurcan kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Staffan Falck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İsa Darga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sinan Akmeşe got free with Karl-Johan Lekberg in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sunkens Surtröjor's Olof Ryberg got a free kick in the 69th minute. Malte Gerdberg's late challenge caught a CİCERO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malte Gerdberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Sunkens Surtröjor got a freekick which was hit by Malte Gerdberg. Karl-Johan Lekberg made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Murathan Temren sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Behzat Timurcan in the 76th minute of play forced Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Lekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sunkens Surtröjor's Ingvar Waller got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Johan Lekberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Murathan Temren went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the game, Murathan Temren lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Karl-Johan Lekberg. The supporters of Sunkens Surtröjor booed when CİCERO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aytunç Tunçöven didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Murathan Temren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karl-Johan Lekberg, 0-6. In the 95th minute of the match, Murathan Temren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karl-Johan Lekberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Sunkens Surtröjor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CİCERO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
