The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, PTC Pabianice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krzysztof Gerlach to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Léonard Keys from long distance, 3 minutes into the match, got Roman Okopny's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 5th minute, Ludomir Podolski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olivier Slaughter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 8th minute, Juan MacDonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gwidon Major struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Olivier Slaughter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PTC Pabianice. A collision led to PTC Pabianice getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dawid Bochynski hit a great ball. When Coy Whitney fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fly T.T's protests and gave Coy Whitney a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of PTC Pabianice booed when Fly T.T was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coy Whitney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gwidon Major's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olivier Slaughter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Fly T.T got a freekick which was hit by Léonard Keys. The supporters of Fly T.T booed when PTC Pabianice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwidon Major didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st match minute, PTC Pabianice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofil Oryl to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Teofil Oryl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, PTC Pabianice's goal looked a bit too open when Burl Reeves came free, but Roman Okopny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, PTC Pabianice's goalkeeper Roman Okopny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Burl Reeves. The Fly T.T players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PTC Pabianice were winning 0-1.

The supporters of PTC Pabianice booed when Fly T.T was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davis McCabe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Davis McCabe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fly T.T's supporters rose to their feet, but Davis McCabe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Okopny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Ludomir Podolski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olivier Slaughter. That made the score 0-2 in the 60 minute of play. The Fly T.T fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Fly T.T's Burl Reeves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 69 minutes into the match, Fly T.T's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomir Podolski came free, but Olivier Slaughter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olivier Slaughter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Rosiewicz in the 72nd minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Ludomir Podolski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olivier Slaughter. Ludomir Podolski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Ike Lafontaine charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ike Lafontaine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in PTC Pabianice's zone, Burl Reeves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Okopny came out of the goal and Burl Reeves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gwidon Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
