The crowd rose to their feet as Stasio Piekarczyk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lillebror Gris. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bibbi Bonkers's Manfred Nordal got a free kick in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Bibbi Bonkers's goal looked a bit too open when Bogumil Smolarek came free, but Lillebror Gris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lillebror Gris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wieslaw Rozanski in the 20th minute. A collision led to Bibbi Bonkers getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Bror Josefsson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Faker FC's Stasio Piekarczyk got a free kick in the 25th minute. Manfred Nordal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Mikolaj Bubczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to Bibbi Bonkers getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Richard Axelsson hit a great ball. Lillebror Gris was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bogumil Smolarek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. Roland Poling charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Poling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Bibbi Bonkers's Karl-Erik Spets seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Karl-Erik Spets the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bibbi Bonkers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Karl-Erik Spets had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Zbyszko Czapski might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lillebror Gris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zbyszko Czapski ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Zygmunt Bondel made the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute Zygmunt Bondel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lillebror Gris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikolaj Bubczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bror Josefsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stasio Piekarczyk in the 76th minute of play forced Bibbi Bonkers's goalkeeper Lillebror Gris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lillebror Gris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Faker FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bibbi Bonkers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
