Umbruso Mena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliciano Darien in the 12th minute. Feliciano Darien came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Umbruso Mena could save by the left post. Sirius Dog's Nereo Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Peña in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sirius Dog's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Klimowitz Cortun was slow to take the kick. During this time GOMEZ F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Ernesto Jorrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umbruso Mena having to interfere. Umbruso Mena was a little too slow when Feliciano Darien got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 3-0. After a rather tough play, Sirius Dog's Moises Bidari got a free kick in the 30th minute. Vito Lapenya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nereo Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Darien in the 35th minute of play forced GOMEZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Umbruso Mena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sirius Dog's zone, Vito Lapenya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Pello came out of the goal and Vito Lapenya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vito Lapenya to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Peña got free with Nereo Pello in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klimowitz Cortun in the 59th minute of play forced Sirius Dog's goalkeeper Nereo Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Cordaro kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Umbruso Mena came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sirius Dog's Feliciano Darien. But to his dismay, Feliciano Darien quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After having played for 72 minutes, Felix Peña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GOMEZ F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Peña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Umbruso Mena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Darien in the 78th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Peña got free with Nereo Pello in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd match minute, Sirius Dog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Iago to maneuver through the defense. Umbruso Mena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Darien's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Cornelio Cordaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Celso Messia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GOMEZ F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sirius Dog the free kick. After 95 played minutes GOMEZ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Celso Messia. GOMEZ F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
