After a defensive mix-up in FC Catalonia's zone, Jermaine Preston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michal Brudnicki came out of the goal and Jermaine Preston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Louie Théberge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Louie Théberge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michal Brudnicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Gilles Schumacher got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes, FC Catalonia's Stanislaw Majewski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marin White came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Catalonia reached it. After 14 played minutes Fenerbahçe S.K. got a freekick which was hit by Rico Migneron. Louie Théberge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Michal Brudnicki made a huge save. If Jermaine Preston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Milosz Franzik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Catalonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenerbahçe S.K. the free kick. Milosz Franzik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Louie Théberge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michal Brudnicki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. If Milosz Franzik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FC Catalonia's Michal Brudnicki got control of the ball when Louie Théberge tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Eduardo Long kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Jermaine Preston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michal Brudnicki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 76th minute Jermaine Preston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Brudnicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well done corner resulted in Sung Norbert drilling the ball in to score 4-0 behind FC Catalonia's goalkeeper. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rico Migneron in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Catalonia's goalkeeper Michal Brudnicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michal Brudnicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louie Théberge, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Louie Théberge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The long shot by Stanislaw Majewski in the 95th minute really tested Marin White's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Michal Brudnicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rico Migneron, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
