After some careless play in the Jurassic Monsters SA defense, Cristian Borrelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Pirani. The Jurassic Monsters SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Pirani should have stopped the shot. Caco da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Borrelli in the 19th minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Lucas Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Cristian Borrelli made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Pirani. Jurassic Monsters SA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. One couldn't see Santos Nalo behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Lucas Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Hotz in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Dragons AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Borrelli to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Borrelli hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Cristian Borrelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dragons AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Borrelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Borrelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Jurassic Monsters SA's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Hotz came free, but Lucas Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 played minutes Dragons AFC got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Tello. After 90 minutes, David Lucero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragons AFC and the Jurassic Monsters SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dragons AFC! In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Jurassic Monsters SA. Caco da Rocha stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Reynaldo Jordy. 1-5. 99 minutes into the game, Jurassic Monsters SA's Magno Velasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reynaldo Jordy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Dragons AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
