But to his dismay, Barnabas Rogge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 27th minute, Gunther Daun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnd Freye in the 29th minute of play forced Shymkent Camels's goalkeeper Pavel Chistov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavel Chistov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunther Daun in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Academica Pulheim booed when Shymkent Camels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artem Ilyushin didn't get a good kick on the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Academica Pulheim reached it. Pavel Chistov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnabas Rogge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Yaroslav Skorospelov made the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Aleksey Favorskiy put in a rough tackle. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Shymkent Camels! After 55 minutes Shymkent Camels's goalkeeper Pavel Chistov managed, with a little bit of luck, save Kevin Meißel's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. In the 58th minute, Gunther Daun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academica Pulheim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. With a little luck, Shymkent Camels's Pavel Chistov got control of the ball when Gunther Daun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barnabas Rogge took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pavel Chistov.
