The audience thought a goal was coming when Demyan Silkin got free with Dick Browall in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Demyan Silkin's late challenge caught a Köping's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Demyan Silkin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Shymkent Camels getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Demyan Silkin hit a great ball. Pavel Chistov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Hjälm in the 20th minute of play. Dick Browall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaroslav Skorospelov in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Köping's goalkeeper Dick Browall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pavel Perepelov. A collision led to Köping getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Marcus Andersson hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavel Perepelov got free with Dick Browall in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dick Browall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaroslav Skorospelov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dick Browall made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Demyan Silkin sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Hjälm to make the kick off. 0-2 became the score in the 62nd minute when Nils-Åke Arvidsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Vladislav Komissarov hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Shymkent Camels's goalkeeper Pavel Chistov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils-Åke Arvidsson. After a rather tough play, Shymkent Camels's Klim Konovalov got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Pavel Perepelov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Köping defense, Yaroslav Skorospelov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dick Browall. The Köping fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dick Browall should have stopped the shot. Igor Eigin hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Dick Browall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaroslav Skorospelov in the 89th minute of the match. The supporters of Köping booed when Shymkent Camels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladislav Komissarov didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Shymkent Camels's Pavel Chistov got control of the ball when Nils-Åke Arvidsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Köping eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
