The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Ivael Tercero came free, but Raimundo Botello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Sergi made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Benito Jaen sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute, Julio Honrio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gervasio Sergi. The goal made the score 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivael Tercero in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Botello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes in the game, Benito Jaen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gervasio Sergi having to interfere. Gervasio Sergi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jorge Cai showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. After 16 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Julio Honrio. Julio Honrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes Departamento Deshabitado got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Ceandro. Gervasio Sergi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eugenio Nataniel. Jorge Cai scored 3-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Sergi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Howling Dawn U18's Eugenio Regis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. 44 minutes into the match, Departamento Deshabitado's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Cai came free, but Gervasio Sergi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ariel Urre came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Howling Dawn U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Urre couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Ariel Urre kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Departamento Deshabitado's Javier Fidele got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Departamento Deshabitado's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Cai came free, but Gervasio Sergi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Jorge Cai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Sergi. Departamento Deshabitado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Cai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Gervasio Sergi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Honrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Cai in the 62nd minute of play forced Departamento Deshabitado's goalkeeper Gervasio Sergi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Sergi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute Ariel Urre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Sergi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Fidele kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Jorge Cai struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Gervasio Sergi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Howling Dawn U18. In the 83rd minute, Ariel Urre made a precise shot to the right of Gervasio Sergi. Departamento Deshabitado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Santos Omero's late challenge caught a Howling Dawn U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Omero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Departamento Deshabitado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Omero didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Howling Dawn U18 had played much better football throughout.
