The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Maraman got free with Nilton Sena in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nilton Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Maraman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Sportivo Ben Hur were awarded a corner. Desiderio Tancredo went to the cornerflag to take it. Desiderio Tancredo made a great header on Sportivo Ben Hur's corner, it was just that Chester Bennington's Nilton Sena managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Maraman during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bruno Maraman hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sportivo Ben Hur getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Felix Malvin hit a great ball. When Desiderio Tancredo came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Sportivo Ben Hur fans jumped to their feet. Celso Incendio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilton Sena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. If Décio Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
