Amauri de Godoi was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. If Iacob Roşulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Vila Industrial FC booed when GoalHunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Geoană didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amauri de Godoi was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Horaţiu Frâncu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Horaţiu Frâncu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Bogdan Luican stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivo Vinhas's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Vides during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Vila Industrial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Vides to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of GoalHunters booed when Vila Industrial FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iacob Roşulescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Amauri de Godoi came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by GoalHunters's Iacob Roşulescu. But to his dismay, Iacob Roşulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After having played for 65 minutes, Horaţiu Frâncu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GoalHunters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horaţiu Frâncu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivo Vinhas in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Luican saved GoalHunters from getting behind. In the 77th match minute, Vila Industrial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. Abel Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Garcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes Vila Industrial FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Garcia. In the 87th minute, Vila Industrial FC's Claudinei Mangueira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Amauri de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Roşulescu in the 91st minute of the match.
