Isidoro Clemencin came out of the goal and Ulises Jurgi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Naranja Mecánica's Isidoro Clemencin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Ubarna in the 8th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Ubarna got free with Isidoro Clemencin in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, La Naranja Mecánica's Isidoro Clemencin got control of the ball when Ulises Jurgi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isidoro Clemencin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blas Ubarna in the 15th minute. La Naranja Mecánica's Isidoro Clemencin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save La Naranja Mecánica from getting a goal against them. Isidoro Clemencin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blas Ubarna's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Madison's Blas Ubarna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, La Naranja Mecánica's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Ubarna came free, but Isidoro Clemencin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Blas Ubarna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidoro Clemencin was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Christian Handi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Madison's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anacleto Araoz to strike the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Clemencin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Ubarna in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Madison's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Artemio Elija fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Blas Ubarna came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Madison fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Ubarna couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Ulises Jurgi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Madison fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 69thth minute of the game Blas Ubarna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Naranja Mecánica's Isidoro Clemencin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Gualterio Conrao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madison's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Conrao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidoro Clemencin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulises Jurgi went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Anacleto Araoz charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anacleto Araoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Marcial Feliu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Clemencin was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. After 95 minutes, Generoso Niguel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Naranja Mecánica and the Madison players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gregorio Hodei took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isidoro Clemencin. La Naranja Mecánica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Madison fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Naranja Mecánica had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
