In the 9thth minute of the game Necati Eripek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Beatles's César da Mata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, The Beatles's Deivid Ramos got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Macit Zafer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of The Beatles booed when Blue Mountain State was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuralp Şahinkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Macit Zafer in the 24th minute of play forced The Beatles's goalkeeper César da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blue Mountain State's Yalçın Olgunay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Viana in the 30th minute of play. Blue Mountain State's Necati Eripek got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arthur Cardozo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yalçın Olgunay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Yalçın Olgunay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Maia in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Blue Mountain State's Necati Eripek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. César da Mata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kayhan Ermiye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes The Beatles got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Alcântara. After 66 minutes, Deivid Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Beatles and the Blue Mountain State players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yalçın Olgunay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Cardozo in the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Blue Mountain State was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakut Sendur to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Arthur Cardozo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yalçın Olgunay. Blue Mountain State's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arthur Cardozo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Macit Zafer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Beatles's César da Mata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save The Beatles from getting a goal against them. Necati Eripek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César da Mata having to interfere. César da Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necati Eripek in the 92nd minute of play. Blue Mountain State's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because The Beatles had won, even though Blue Mountain State had held more of the ball.
