Marian Bălan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macit Zafer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Marian Bălan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macit Zafer in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Macit Zafer in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Bălan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Macit Zafer in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Bălan saved FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mădălin Buzgar in the 27th minute of play forced Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Yalçın Olgunay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yalçın Olgunay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Buzgar in the 30th minute of the match. Muhsin Taze charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Muhsin Taze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Blue Mountain State getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Muhsin Taze hit a great ball. After 32 minutes, Valer Opincaru made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Blue Mountain State's Yalçın Olgunay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Costache kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Macit Zafer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Macit Zafer in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Bălan saved FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt from getting behind. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Macit Zafer to make the kick off. In the 63rd minute, Macit Zafer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Bălan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Kayhan Ermiye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Necati Eripek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Kayhan Ermiye managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue Mountain State's supporters rose to their feet, but Kayhan Ermiye was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Bălan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Macit Zafer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Marian Bălan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Necati Eripek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Bălan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Muhsin Taze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorin Chirtoacă hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Marian Bălan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kayhan Ermiye in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt booed when Blue Mountain State was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haydar Erboy didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valer Opincaru in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yalçın Olgunay saved Blue Mountain State from getting behind. If Macit Zafer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Blue Mountain State were the better team. Blue Mountain State's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
