In the 3rd match minute, Defensores de Fasano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Maidana to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Xacintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from M. Ikhsan Situmorang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Marcial Opilano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores de Fasano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 10th match minute, Bandung Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aming Silaban to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Raphael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bandung Tigers's zone, Bernardino Olando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herman Winar came out of the goal and Bernardino Olando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Tobias Tono made a precise shot to the right of Herman Winar. Bandung Tigers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Herman Winar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Opilano in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Bandung Tigers booed when Defensores de Fasano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Gimenez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Raphael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Herman Winar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Alfonso Raphael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Winar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herman Winar came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Fasano's Marcial Opilano. But to his dismay, Marcial Opilano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Herman Winar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Raphael, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. During the 41st minute of the match Ivan Maidana completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ivan Maidana a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Bandung Tigers booed when Defensores de Fasano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Maidana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atang Rumbewas's late challenge caught a Defensores de Fasano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atang Rumbewas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bandung Tigers getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Atang Rumbewas hit a great ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Marcial Opilano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de Fasano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Opilano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. M. Ikhsan Situmorang was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Defensores de Fasano booed when Bandung Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Legimin Murtopo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Alfonso Raphael could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Herman Winar however easily saved by the left post. Eloy Gimenez might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herman Winar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eloy Gimenez ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcial Opilano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Herman Winar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Defensores de Fasano booed when Bandung Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ibing Tauhid didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Legimin Murtopo during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Bandung Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Legimin Murtopo to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes Defensores de Fasano got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Gimenez. The supporters of Defensores de Fasano booed when Bandung Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kabul Muttaqien didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by M. Ikhsan Situmorang in the 76th minute of play forced Defensores de Fasano's goalkeeper Esteve Xacintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Eloy Gimenez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herman Winar. The goal made the score 0-4. After a rather tough play, Bandung Tigers's Rama Pravita got a free kick in the 88th minute. Alfonso Raphael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Herman Winar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Bandung Tigers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Defensores de Fasano were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
