Samuel Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Luke in the 4th minute of the match. Ivan Caitano in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Samuel Pontes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 10 minutes into the match, Chicão Tepedino notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Domínguez AFC's Mateo Veronica. Mateo Veronica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samuel Pontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Caitano went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Alvinegro Carioca getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Chicão Tepedino hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alvinegro Carioca's zone, Robustiano Txilar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Pontes came out of the goal and Robustiano Txilar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Adhemar Terra made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Veronica. Domínguez AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 21 minutes into the match, Alvinegro Carioca's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Caitano came free, but Samuel Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Cabral in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Domínguez AFC's Gaspar Haitz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gaspar Haitz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Domínguez AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gaspar Haitz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Alvinegro Carioca getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Reginaldo Paraibano hit a great ball. Kauan Santana hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Robustiano Txilar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cornelio Luke kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Samuel Pontes. That made the score 2-3 in the 37 minute of play. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robustiano Txilar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samuel Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Txilar in the 57th minute of the match. Teodoro Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robustiano Txilar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Alvinegro Carioca's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Anø came free, but Samuel Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Alvinegro Carioca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Mello to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Luke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samuel Pontes. Alvinegro Carioca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 68th minute, Jeronimo Argenis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Domínguez AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Robustiano Hibai kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Adhemar Terra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alvinegro Carioca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Domínguez AFC the free kick. After 73 played minutes Alvinegro Carioca got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Terra. The supporters of Domínguez AFC booed when Alvinegro Carioca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Sayvion kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When Adhemar Terra was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. After 81 played minutes Alvinegro Carioca got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Terra. Alvinegro Carioca's Samuel Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Anø in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 played minutes Domínguez AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amador Seber. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chicão Tepedino in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Veronica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caio Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Argenis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Pontes. Alvinegro Carioca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeronimo Argenis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. A collision led to Alvinegro Carioca getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Kauan Santana hit a great ball.
